Trip to North Carolina

We took a trip to Raleigh to see Darcy and Tommy and their families. Lukacs got to spend the entire weekend with his best friend Brady, they played together amazingly well for a 2.5 and 3.5 year old!! We went to Marbles Museum where Lukacs refused to take off the firefighter outfit and he and Brady did some serious water play. Then Lukacs and Brady (having to be together at all times) went to see Princess Lacie (Tommy's 4-yr old) and their brand new baby Emmy! Both boys loved holding Emmy but not as much as they liked being dressed up by Princess Lacie. We can't wait for our upcoming trips to see Mickey (Disney World, Feb. 24th) and then hopefully to CO to see baby Eva this summer!!

Starting Where We Left Off

  These pictures are from Dec. 09 that you probably have a few and/or have probably already seen but I thought this was a pretty cool look. Florence just scheduled our family pictures from the same lady that took these on December 22nd. As you can expect, our holiday cards will be late. Less than 90 days until Aidan is born! Our neighbor brought over a cradle today and we sent her home with Lukacs' play kitchen for her baby girl. So it turned out to be a good trade until Aidan can actually stand up and use it. Lukacs has started a reading program at school that he brings home a new book when he's mastered the one he had. We've done almost one a day. We also started reading the Magic Tree House chapter book series that he loves and doesn't want us to stop reading. We might be adding some of those books to his xmas list but I'm not sure he can wait that long. Please leave a comment below and let us know what you want us to post next. We will post pict...

Fall Fling

Hopefully the next post we will get around to posting some pictures. We just went to the pumpkin patch over the weekend, so we'll cover that next.  Lukacs is very excited and can't wait for Grandpa Terry to come. Lukacs has shared with us that he has a girlfriend named Riley and that they have either kissed on the lips or have gotten in trouble for trying.  Another girl, named Maggie told on them to the teacher.  I'm guessing she was jealous because from what I've heard, her and Lukacs are pretty close. So, it looks like it won't be long until Lukacs is writing love notes and going to the movies. Check out the countdown to Aidan's birth below!

Lukacs' School

Visitation was among the 304 schools nationwide - 254 public and 50 private, or less than three out of one thousand schools - that met standards for the national achievement Blue Ribbon program. That's all.
